It’s been about one year since Salisbury Township school directors narrowly voted to close one of the district’s two elementary schools, a decision that has led to a crowded school board race.

Marcy Elementary School principal Michele Trawicki was chosen as the Wisconsin Elementary School Principal of the Year by the Association of Wisconsin School Administrators.

Marcy Elementary School has been recognized as a 2019 National Blue Ribbon School Award winner. It is among fewer than 1% of schools nationwide to receive the award.
