MLB All-Stars and OU softball legends set for unique Home Run Derby X event in Oklahoma City
A pair of MLB All-Stars and some University of Oklahoma softball legends are set to play in a unique event this weekend in OKC.
The Seattle Mariners' Cal Raleigh became the 33rd player in Major League Baseball history to hit 50 or more home runs in a single season.
The Royals squad will feature Lorenzo Cain, who lives in Norman after spending his 13-year big-league career with the Brewers and Royals. He’ll be paired with Texas catcher Reese Atwood, who helped the Longhorns win the Women’s College World Series title this year, and former Florida star Amanda Lorenz.
ESPN is nearing a deal with Major League Baseball to distribute out-of-market games. This comes after ESPN opted out of its previous contract with MLB in February.
