Rapper Lil Nas X is speaking out for the first time about his arrest in Los Angeles and subsequent court appearance on Monday.

Lil Nas X was released from jail on Monday after pleading not guilty to four felony charges in Los Angeles. The "Old Town Road" rapper—whose real name is Montero Lamar Hill—was arrested on Thursday morning after charging at police officers while walking around Los Angeles nude.

It was reported that Lil Nas X appeared in front of a judge on Monday where four charges were filed – following the hearing, his father Robert Stafford said the rapper was ‘very remorseful for what happened’. ‘He’s going to get the help that he needs and just keep him in your prayers,’ he said.
