"We’re here to tell the story of one of the most under-appreciated genres of music in rock history," says Emily Havens, the museum's executive director.

The show, called Rock the Valley, includes 1980s bands Winger, Lita Ford and headlined by what’s billed as the Dokken Lynch Reunion Tour.

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- 1980s rock icon Lita Ford will be at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on Monday to loan the museum one of her famous guitars.

The song became Ford’s solo breakthrough, and it was the highest charting single for both her and Osbourne, peaking at No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the late 1980s, per Ultimate Guitar.

Known as 1980s and early 1990s acts, Warrant, Lita Ford and Kip Winger will perform Aug. 20 at Stoney’s Road House in Emmett, Idaho. Tickets go on sale soon.
