If you want to encrypt files or folders on Windows 10, you can do it using the Encrypted File Service, with third-party dedicated tool, or Microsoft Office.

BitLocker may have vulnerabilities, but I’m still recommending it (and its Device Encryption derivative) to users.

Windows has a secret vault. You're not using it.
