Some brands label them as half socks, others carelessly lump them into the ankle sock category (wrong). But perhaps the most specific and accurate moniker among them is the 3/8 sock.

The half calf is it. As expected, it’s about a third shorter than its full-calf counterpart (see below), on par with other calf socks we’ve known and loved—if not a smidge lower.
