CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The Girl Scout cookie season has officially kicked off across the region.

If you aren’t able to get cookies in-person, don’t fret because Girl Scout cookies will be available to order online for delivery beginning Feb. 21.

One East Bay troop leader told KTVU that last year, the local troops only made 80 cents on every box of cookies sold. This year, each troop gets between $1 to $1.25 per $7 box sold, according to Girl Scout documents.
