Oil prices were hovering around the $94 mark per barrel on March 16. That "drop" didn't do anything to help the price of gas in the United States. Most states saw continued rises in prices per gallon.
The Government wants to switch to electric arc furnaces, but these only recycle scrap steel. To keep producing virgin steel would involve gas-fired plants.
