Chelsea travel across West London to face old foes Fulham in the Premier League tonight, with Liam Rosenior set to watch from the stands rather than be on the sideline after joining the club.

Fulham takes on Chelsea on Wednesday, Jan. 7, at Craven Cottage, with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m. GMT. That makes it a 2:30 p.m. ET or 11:30 a.m. PT start in the US and Canada, and a 6:30 a.m. AEDT kickoff in Australia on Thursday.

Liverpool has certainly had a roller coaster season thus far. The team had one of the hottest starts in the EPL, but a terrible skid led them to stumble down the table. However, the Reds, despite the Mohamed Salah debacle, have shown the championship pedigree as of late, slowly climbing back up the standings.

After a lengthy VAR check, the original decision to rule a Wirtz strike out for offside was reversed as Issa Diop was supposedly playing the German playmaker onside as he swept a 10-yard strike past Fulham shot stopper Bernd Leno and into the bottom-left corner. Taking to X (formerly Twitter) to provide reasoning, the Premier League wrote:

Fulham and Chelsea meet at Craven Cottage on Wednesday in an all-London affair in the Premier League. The hosts enter proceedings riding a five-match unbeaten streak in league play. Fulham held reigning champion Liverpool to a 2-2 draw at home on Saturday which put it in 11th place in the table.

Chelsea will be coached by the interim manager, Calum McFarlane, against Fulham today. This is expected to be McFarlane’s final game in charge of the team, with Rosenior expected to coach his first Chelsea match as new manager on the weekend against Charlton Athletic in Round 3 of the FA Cup.
