The death of a man who was involved in an altercation with the husband of a sheriff's deputy at a Texas Denny's has been ruled a homicide. The deputy was later pulled from patrol duties.

Closing arguments are underway in the murder trial of Terry Thompson, a man accused in a deadly fight outside a Denny's restaurant.

Denny's employee Melissa Trammell describes seeing the violent fight outside the restaurant. "We do not ask for the death penalty for the Thompson family," said Wendy Maldonado, Hernandez's aunt.
