Maine native Cooper Flagg will suit up for the Duke Blue Devils on Friday afternoon, as the No. 1 seed in the East Region takes on 16-seed Mount St. Mary's in the opening round of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament.

But Duke revealed that Flagg is going to be active for the first-round showdown, which is good news for the Blue Devils. Flagg missed the ACC tournament games against North Carolina and Louisville, although Jon Scheyer's team still won the ACC tournament.

Star freshman Cooper Flagg will play on Friday afternoon when top-ranked Duke begins play in the NCAA Tournament against Mount St. Mary's in an East Region game in Raleigh, N.C. The forward's availability was in question after he sustained a sprained left ankle in the first half in the Blue Devils' 78-70 victory over Georgia Tech on March 13 in the Atlantic Coast Conference quarterfinal.
