Yankees All-Star left-hander Max Fried left a start against the Chicago Cubs after a season-low three innings because of a a blister on his left index finger.
Max Fried left his start for the New York Yankees on Saturday with a blister on his throwing hand, and the updates don't bring about much hope. Yankees manager Aaron Boone told reporters this : “It’s a good one. Like, he definitely had to come out.”
After all, the Yankees offense wasn’t going to keep scoring five or more runs a game, as they had done the previous 10 before Saturday, the most within one season in the majors since the 2023 Braves and the longest by a Yankee team since July 2012.
New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone could make Atlanta Braves fans even more miserable if he does one thing with Max Fried in the All-Star Game.
