The United States swept China in Perth on Wednesday to punch their ticket to the semifinals of the United Cup in Australia.

Led by Coco Gauff and Taylor Fritz, the USA stood among the United Cup favorites. Gauff and Fritz proved that on the court, delivering the title for their country! In Sunday's final in Sydney, the USA defeated Poland 2-0 following two singles triumphs.

Coco Gauff defeated Iga Swiatek to give the USA a 1-0 lead and Taylor Fritz edged Hubert Hurkacz in a third-set tiebreak to deliver the United Cup title.

Coco Gauff overcame second-ranked Iga Swiatek 6-4, 6-4 in the opening singles of the United Cup mixed teams tennis event and the United States went on to win the final by beating Poland 2-0 on Sunday.

Coco Gauff had roughly one month off after winning the 2024 WTA Finals. The 20-year-old has not missed a beat in 2025. Earlier today, Gauff defeated Poland's Iga Swiatek to help win the United Cup for Team USA.
