Since 1958 when Southern Hills hosted the U.S. Open, no U.S. course except Augusta National, home of The Masters, has been the site of more majors.

The PGA of America announced that the 2032 PGA Championship will be held at Southern Hills Country Club, marking the sixth time the course has hosted one of golf’s most prestigious tournaments, more than any other venue.

The PGA of America announced Tuesday, ahead of the championship, that the 2032 edition would be contested at Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Oklahoma (pictured above). It will be the first venue to host six PGA Championships (1970, 1982, 1994, 2007, 2022).

Southern Hills Country Club will host its record-extending sixth PGA Championship in 2032, the PGA of America announced Tuesday. The course in Tulsa, Oklahoma, most recently hosted the major in 2022, when Justin Thomas won in a playoff against Will Zalatoris. Tiger Woods won the PGA Championship at that course in 2007.

The PGA Championship is headed back to Tulsa, and it will be held at the same place it's been held five times before. Southern Hills Country Club will host its sixth PGA Championship in 2032, making it the first course in history to host a total of six times.

More than likely, none of the current PGA of America decision-makers were on the Southern Hills property to see Tommy Bolt prevail in the 1958 PGA Championship or Dave Stockton win in 1970. In 1994, the world’s top-ranked player, Nick Price, was a dominant PGA Championship winner in Tulsa.
