Wheel of Fortune is celebrating its 50th anniversary this week, and the celebrations would not be complete without the presence of the beloved, now retired long-time host, Pat Sajak. The Tuesday, January 7 episode of Wheel was a special one as current host Ryan Seacrest paused the game portion of the show to give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the various folks who work on the program.

The 78-year-old said farewell to his longtime hosting gig earlier this summer, but is now said to be looking for a way back in.
