New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu (R) signed a new bill into law that will require unregistered voters to provide documentation, without exception, to prove their identity and citizenship before voting on Election Day.

The new law, which won’t take effect until after the November elections, eliminates voter identification exceptions in New Hampshire.

The new law goes into effect after the November election, when proof-of-citizenship will be required to register and a photo ID will be required to vote. Critics say it could disenfranchise qualified voters.
