In London on Saturday afternoon, people demanded answers and transparency from law enforcement after the death of Douglas Harless, who was killed by police at his home in Lily.

LONDON, Ky. ( FOX 56) — A man was hospitalized on Thursday after a shooting in Laurel County. The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office said at 2:45 p.m., authorities responded to a shooting off Hopper Creek Road about 9 miles southeast of London to find a 43-year-old man who was shot in the hip.

It was in December when Kentucky State Police said Doug Harless was shot and killed by a London Police Officer.

The man killed by London, Ky., police had a light bulb camera on his front porch that recorded the interactions between him and police officers, according to official records.
