In an interview with 60 Minutes, U.S. special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner describe speaking directly with Hamas to broker the ceasefire in Gaza and what it took to make the deal.

Kushner noted that during his visit to the Levant in the days before the official exchange of hostages, Gaza “looked almost like a nuclear bomb had been set off.”
