Questions for India's selectors to ponder, as they sit down this weekend to pick the squads for the England ODIs and the Champions Trophy

India's squad for the upcoming event is set to be announced on January 18. The selectors will also pick the squad for the three-match ODI series against England. Ajit Agarkar and Rohit will also address the press conference after announcement.

The selection committee, headed by Ajit Agarkar, will convene in Mumbai on Saturday to pick India's squad for the Champions Trophy.

Karun Nair is set to be ignored for a place in the 2025 Champions Trophy squad despite his record-breaking performance in the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy. The Vidarbha captain has scored more than 700 runs.

The BCCI has announced that the Indian cricket team for the Champions Trophy 21025 and the upcoming home ODI series against England will be selected in Mumbai on Saturday, 18 January followed by a press conference by Team India captain Rohit Sharma and men’s selection committee head Ajit Agarkar.

BCCI issued a media advisory announcing the same. Skipper Rohit Sharma and the chairman of the men's selection committee Ajit Agarkar will be attending the press conference scheduled for 12:30 PM IST.

Jasprit Bumrah is all set to be picked in the 15-man squad, but his availability is subject to fitness. Sources told India Today that Sanju Samson and Karun Nair are unlikely to be considered for the premier 50-over tournament,
