Google is reportedly bringing back an important Google Photos sharing feature after suddenly removing it without warning last year. This removal has left some users frustrated at the inability to easily share certain photos and videos using Partner Sharing, especially images taken with external cameras or created in other apps.

On Wednesday, Google shared that users can now flip or mirror their photos from the Google Photos app. Although that may sound like a fundamental feature, the previous edit functions only allowed users to crop, rotate, or adjust a picture's aspect ratio before. You couldn't actually flip an image within the app.

Some Google Photos users recently reported seeing a new “Quick Edit” feature when sharing photos one at a time. If you also have the Quick Edit feature available (most users don’t have it yet), it will pop up at the beginning of the sharing process, prompting you to crop and enhance the image before you send it.
