George Foreman, the legendary boxer and namesake of one of the most iconic cooking apparatuses of the last 30 years, passed away this weekend at the age of 76.

Boxing legend and entrepreneur George Foreman has died, his family announced Friday. No cause of death was provided. Foreman was a two-time world heavyweight champion in his boxing career and took home a Gold medal at the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City. He later became known for his George Foreman Grill business.
