A Tarrant County jury on Tuesday sentenced a teenager to life in prison for a 2022 shooting in Fort Worth that killed two people, including a 5-year-old boy.

Fort Worth police confirm officers shot and killed the man who allegedly charged officers with a knife as they responded to a domestic disturbance call.

Jay Shawn Nixon-Clark was automatically sentenced to life in prison for murdering a 17-year-old and 5-year-old when he was 16 years old.

Clark, who was a juvenile at the time of the shooting, will serve 40 years in prison before he is eligible for parole.
