The day Los Angeles Dodgers fans have been waiting for is finally coming, as superstar Shohei Ohtani is set to return to the mound for his first pitching appearance for LA since inking a massive 10-year, $700 million contract with the franchise in December of 2023.
The team announced the two-way star will take the bump Monday against the San Diego Padres, but ESPN's Alden Gonzalez reported he's likely to only throw one or two innings "in what will basically amount to a continuation of his rehab."
