Spring slop is heading to Colorado, bringing snow to the mountains and heavy rain to Denver.The first round of moisture will arrive Sunday night and slowly spread across the state on Monday. Rain and snow will spread south of I-70 through 11 AM and northward by 1 PM.

The Front Range and Eastern Plains won’t see snow, but instead will be hit by multiple rounds of rain showers and thunderstorms between Monday and Wednesday.

A powerful spring storm will bring soaking rains to the lower elevations and heavy snow to the mountains through Wednesday.
