In Year 1, Thomas Jr. joined an incredible group of four rookie receivers to ever finish their debut season with 1,200 yards and 10 or more touchdowns catches. The 22 year old joins fellow former LSU Tigers Ja'marr Chase and Odell Beckham Jr., as well as Hall of Famer Randy Moss.

Despite the Jaguars’ 4-13 record, Brian Thomas Jr. ended the season with 87 catches, 1,282 receiving yards, 10 touchdowns and 28 catches for 15 or more yards. In this game alone, he had 71 receiving yards which put him in fifth place for single-season receiving yards in franchise history.
