Two additional bodies were recovered from the rubble of an Iranian missile strike in Bat Yam early Monday morning, ZAKA announced. The number of dead in the city alone from the missile strikes has risen to nine since ZAKA's announcement. Another person is still missing in the city due to the strikes, KAN reported.

The Bat Yam municipality announced that Efrat Saranga, a 44-year-old resident of the city, was murdered early in the morning when an Iranian missile struck her building.
The ballistic missile fired by Iran contained hundreds of kilograms of explosives and caused a large amount of destruction.
