Anime continues to rev up the box office, the latest example being Chainsaw Man. The movie sequel to the first season of the rip-roaring anime series topped the U.S. box office with $17.3 million, bringing its already impressive global total to $108 million.

On the plus side, Netflix's One Piece adaptation will return much sooner for season 2, starting March 10, 2026. Subtitled Into the Grand Line, the next arc will see the Straw Hats enter the treacherous expanse of water called the Grand Line and visit various locations in and around this territory.
