What a great view of the area and the fall colours. Would definitely recommend as something to see. It has a beautiful picnic area and it was a beautiful day to stop. Full review by Rita H

Best view by a dam site. To fully appreciate the dam, stop at all the visitor centers and take the nature trail hike. Then, go into Warren and drive up Hemlock Street to the fish hatchery to get ano… Full review by larryrneal2016

Because the area is popular, you might consider researching the locations you'd prefer with the Forest Service which operates the forest - best way to do that is via the internet. There are also boat ramps for those wishing to fish or simply see the views from the water.

At a visitor center a ranger told us about something that was a series of waterfalls near the Dam, but it was a little confusing. No doubt a ranger could give you more detail.
