Set among 212 rolling acres in West Mifflin, the Community College of Allegheny County South Campus serves Allegheny County's southern communities and the Mon Valley region. The South Campus moved to its current six-story, comprehensive educational facility in 1973. Its buildings, built over a number of years, house lecture halls, traditional classrooms, a learning assistance center, computer labs, and state-of-the art allied health and nursing laboratories. In addition, the campus has a library that is open to the public, a theatre, a radio station, a gymnasium, and a fully-equipped fitness center. The grounds surrounding the campus are picturesque and provide walkways and trails for students and community members to enjoy the outdoors.
