Upon opening in 2009, BANG! The Drum School quickly became known as NYC’s most welcoming and friendly place to learn to play drums. Our drum classes welcome anyone and everyone. Even those who have never touched a pair of sticks feel comfortable here. Some of our students have lofty goals while some just want to see what drumming is like. Kids and adults alike will learn how to read drum music and play drums from enthusiastic and patient teachers. Whoever you are and whatever your goals, we are here to help. We have a real, true, open door policy. Located just outside of Times Square in Manhattan, our physical space aligns with our school’s philosophy. At our drum school you will learn how to play drums in studios that are beautiful, bright, clean and cheery with great sounding drums and top-notch equipment. We’re the only place in NYC to have our drum classes in own beautifully renovated multi-studio facility, complete with a comfy waiting room. It’s a gorgeous drumming nirvana.
