Javelin: short shaft of wood with a sharpened end. Used for throwing. Lance: A long and thicker pointy piece of wood designed to be carried by a horseman. Far too inconvenient for a single man to carry. Pike: very very long staff with a metal dagger-like item strapped to the top. Used for foot soldiers to stab at horsemen from a safe distance.
I have made a lot of technical progress in the javelin throw yet my numbers aren't climbing as they should be. I was wondering if a more trained eye can see a technical issue with my throw, or if there are any other potential confounding variables on why I'm not throwing as far as I'd like to! (800g javelin, 6 months of throwing, 49.5 meter PR) I truly appreciate all your help.
Anyway, I way watching this podcast and the guy states that the FGM-148 Javelin will detonate 60 seconds after locking on, even if not fired. Why was it designed this way?
This thing is madness, I came here, after I have tried the old game to install from previous pc to the new one. I have faced with this problem, then I have created new account on EA Play, and re-bought again the game, and after the installation, this thing again happen. And I cant play this sh*t game.
Spears are severely underwhelming, the attack speed is about half that of knives, and the extra crit damage and range isn't really worth it. However there are a few niche situations where they are really helpful. Javelins are a really good source of damage (especially early game, bone jav has about 200 dmg iirc). Javelins just suffer from a lower effective range/higher skill floor as you have ...
The Javelin-10N is a poor man's Commando. Despite being five tons heavier, it has as much armor as a Commando, the same top speed as a Commando, and almost the same Alpha strike damage (28.8 to the Commando's 29).
Javelin will populate each page as a separate entry in the print queue. So for a 200 page document you should see 200 items generate in the print queue. Again, make sure you've paused the queue or unplugged the printer. Open a finder window and select Go > Go to Folder and enter /private/var/spool/ Right click on the folder cups and select Get ...
The slit allows a contained javelin to be grabbed near its center balance point, such that when it is drawn, the weapon is immediately ready for use. Any number of javelins can be drawn from the ketch in a turn, counting only as a single interaction.
The vid shows how axes can't do anything to armored troops currently. Which is a shame because I find throwing them and knives more fun than javs. But it also means that Sturgian troops got a big nerf, Battanian heavy infantry now also uses axes and only wildings are really left with a massive javelin output.
